Janine J. Rhoads
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Next Offset Solutions, Janine Rhoads, has a passion for helping clients achieve transformative change by leveraging thoughtful combinations of proven methodologies and strategic research.
Ms. Rhoads' passion derives not only from the hallowed halls of the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business (she is a very proud alumna), but more than 20 years of experience in business consulting (with an emphasis in supply chain operations, change management, and programmatic process improvement) where she served more than 30 clients, including a number of Fortune 100 companies and US governmental entities. Most recently Ms. Rhoads served as the Director of Procurement Operations for a midwest-based Fortune 100 corporation.
JeffREY F. (Jeff) Rhoads, Ph.D.
The Chief Operating Officer of Next Offset Solutions, Jeff Rhoads, gleefully tackles emergent technical challenges with a honed balance of focus, rigor, and creativity.
Dr. Rhoads received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, each in mechanical engineering, from Michigan State University. His current technical interests span the areas of dynamics, vibration, energetic materials (including explosives, propellants, and pyrotechnics), electromechanical systems, nonlinear systems, and additive manufacturing. Outside of Next Offset Solutions, Dr. Rhoads serves as a Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University and is affiliated with both the Birck Nanotechnology Center and Ray W. Herrick Laboratories at the same institution. He also serves as the Director of Practice for MEERCat Purdue: The Mechanical Engineering Education Research Center at Purdue University. In his various academic roles, Dr. Rhoads has conducted more than $20M in sponsored research (with extensive support from the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, National Science Foundation, and industry), and has published more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and 2 textbooks. These efforts, amongst others, have garnered numerous international recognitions and awards.
I. Emre Gunduz, Ph.D.
The Chief Technology Officer of Next Offset Solutions, Emre Gunduz, eagerly explores research questions with abundant creativity and technical prowess.
Dr. Gunduz received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey and his Ph.D. degree in materials science from Northeastern University. His interests include development of novel approaches for additive manufacturing and related materials design, energetic materials and imaging systems. Outside of Next Offset Solutions, Dr. Gunduz serves as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey and as Adjunct faculty at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. In his various academic roles, Dr. Gunduz has conducted research with support from Department of Defense, Department of Energy, National Science Foundation, European Framework Programme and industry, and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed publications.
